I shared with you the meat of my development as a storyteller, but I want to share with you a little bit more about where I came from and the ways I have developed as a marketer and creative.

My Story

For 5+ years I have translated stories into marketable and entertaining content that people want to see. I aim to leverage my storytelling skills to connect businesses with their target audience and I aspire to help cultivate compelling stories that deepen connections between businesses and buyers.

My venture into marketing and storytelling began unexpectedly at a local Starbucks. I approached strangers, learned about their stories, and shared these stories with readers using my blog, The People's Person. Within months, I crafted and shared 16 inspiring stories, unlocking doors to meet remarkable entrepreneurs and business leaders.

I partnered with Jeremy Miller at Inspired Blue Media, stepping into the role of a Digital Marketing Specialist. I learned how to create Facebook advertising campaigns and manage daily agency sales operations and client feedback management using Google Sheets.

I began working with BlitzMetrics under the mentorship of Dennis Yu, a world-renowned expert in digital marketing. This marked a significant shift in my development as a marketer. Orchestrating marketing workshops for 24 nationwide clients, I swiftly produced 24 engaging brand storytelling videos within a three-day window. Utilizing data analytics, I optimized Facebook ad campaigns, consistently driving maximum ROI. This experience allowed me to evolve from proficiency to expertise in Facebook marketing.

Years later, I transformed my passion for music into a part-time gig, where I leveraged my marketing skills to generate substantial success. Utilizing the skills I acquired working with BlitzMetrics and Inspired Blue Media, I booked and managed over 15 shows during a single summer, generating $10k in revenue while performing for thousands. From filming and producing promotional content to crafting captivating graphics and stories, I strategically engaged new and existing fans, driving attendance at my shows. I continue to apply these skills daily, managing CRM systems, curating compelling content, and forging deeper connections with my audience.
